Bronson Canyon Hike

Meet by the striped red and white pole at the north end of the dirt parking lot inside the park entrance. Parking inside the park is free, and there is also ample free unregulated street parking just outside the park gates on Canyon Drive.
We’ll start with an easy 30-minute loop to historic Bronson Caverns, used as a filming location for numerous film and television productions.
We’ll then proceed with a moderately strenuous 90 minute up and back route with elevation gain on a wide fire trail rising above Bronson Canyon to reach an overlook.
Total time of the hike is two hours. All the trails are wide, easy fire trails, but simple hiking shoes with good treads are always a good precaution. Bring water and sun protection. Hike cancels in event of rain or extreme heat.
